The Consortium.

NaturaConnect brings together 22 partner institutions spanning across 15 European Union Member States*. The Consortium unites universities and research institutes, government and public bodies, and non-governmental organizations working together with key stakeholders to create targeted knowledge and tools, and build the capacity needed to support European Union Member States in realizing an ecologically representative, resilient and well-connected network of conserved areas across Europe.
The diagram below shows each partner, their disciplinary background, areas of expertise, and ecosystem research focus.

The project is jointly coordinated by the International Institute for Applied System Analysis (IIASA), the German Centre for Integrative Biodiversity Research (iDiv) and Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg (MLU).
